Kaylee Presents at the Chamber Luncheon

Kaylee Wilson, FBLA President, presented a challenge to the community at the February Chamber of Commerce Meeting.á The challenge was to help our local homeless population to obtain the necessary clothing, food and shelter that they so desperately need.á One way that students of Pulaski County High School and Somerset High School have decided to help is by organizing an event called CardBoard Nation.á CardBoard Nation is a one night event held that members of the local community will sleep in a cardboard box to simulate being homeless.á Even though it is only for one night, the goal of the event is to raise awareness and funds for the homeless in our community.

Date: Friday, March 27th
Time: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
Place: First Baptist Church

To register or for more details join the Pulaski County CardBoard Nation Facebook page or e-mail one of the participating advisors at james.murray@pulaski.kyschools.us or courtney.ikerd@somerset.kyschools.us.
